Mode was founded by product designers Duncan and Kevin in late 2004 as a design consultancy providing client based design services to new and existing contacts in the UK.  The desire to produce their own range of products for the home led to the emerging Mode brand of design-led gifts and interior design accessories. To compliment the design team, Alun joined 6 months later to develop the sales and marketing of the growing range of products.

"We get very excited about seeing the brand develop and our choices are usually informed by the stuff we like. It helps that the three of us have been best mates since school and we are proud to be based back home in Cardiff."    

The products, many of which have become design icons in contemporary kitchen and homeware, combine the ultra-practical approach of trained product designers with the spirited twist so typical for British creativity.
