Whilst browsing through the world of blogs I stumbled upon Eat Drink Chic Blog and their recent post on Hare & Grace. I have not yet had the pleasure of dining at the Hare & Grace eatery that is also a minibar, although I plan to soon. The interior has character, designed by Joost Bakker and their food looks simply exquisite! All those in Melbourne, if you haven’t already, go enjoy what looks like a splendid eatery, I know I will be following in your foot steps not long from now!
Enjoy your weekend! xo
A magnificent design by Pierre Stephane Dumas, the Cristal Bubble allows one to dwell inside with the illusion of being outside. In the words of Dumas, “The ceiling of the bubble has the Milky Way, guests will be able to enjoy this as well as the extraordinary light variation of the sunset and sunrise”. The materials used for this magical creation are recyclable and anti-UV. Within the frame a fan pump electrically circulates fresh air throughout the Bubble and the floors are wooden. There are various design options that allow a children’s room to be added, sidewalls for privacy and a washroom. I know I would be quite pleased if I had my own Bubble Hut.

Irregular Choice create some of the most unique shoes I have ever seen, their colourful, detailed and ultimately cute and their home ware reflects the same theme. I found these two delightful hot drink mugs and tissue dispenser whilst admiring their site.
Put A Lid On It (In Red also)
Tea For Two (In Black Theme also)
Oh Bless You (Tissue Dispenser)
Whilst I was happily scanning through Another’s incredible Loves I had to share a few of their finds. Hopefully you enjoy these design pieces as much as I did!
Ice Cream Light Bulb Fittings!
Bellemo & Cat Residential Cacoon! “This cocoon for weekend living is situated in a bushy coastal hamlet on the Great Ocean Road. The steepness of the site, the dramatic views and the sometimes harsh climate resulted in a object house that whilst protecting from the elements, opened one side to the landscape. In principle this is a matchbox inside an egg, a rectangle within an oval. Inside, the spaces dovetail together with the economic precision of a small boat or caravan”. Simply Delightful!

Our small and lovable range of Melissa shoes are now in store for women and girls. They are all available online, however I do advise you see and try on these shiny, unique shoes in person. The pictures do not showcase their comfort, bubblegum aroma or vibrant colour that they rightfully deserve! Here is a little preview of what we have.
Hope you are all having a lovely week!
For all our Marimekko fans, here is a colorful treat. The link below is a lovely video of the Marimekko Hot Air Balloon flying over Helsinki. Fly me away in a Marimekko Hot Air Balloon any day!
Enjoy. xo
On the weekend I was introduced to an amazing new cafe’ at the Oracle in Broadbeach. No Name Lane are new to the Gold Coast and the humble atmosphere indoors and outside make for a wonderful quick coffee and enjoyable outing. The menu is quite simple but the food is tasty and addictive! Once you taste the delicious flavour of their coffee, fellow Gold Coast inhabitants, I promise you will return!

Sorry I have been away for seven days! I went on a holiday away from the distractions of electronics. However, today whilst cooped up away from the rain in Byron I was once again lost in the virtual world of design. As always carried away by all the beautiful things I found this curious profession…Miniatuarist Matchbox Label Artist. Sparking my curiosity was ‘Bad Banana Blog:Vintage Design’ with their recent post on Indian Matchbox Art. Here is one of the wonderfully odd matchbox images.
It never really occurred to me that people spend their days designing these little boxes of fire. So I found a few more of the tiny arty creations that are really quite cute!
And some vintage ones…
Enjoy the rest of your long weekend! Greenhouse xo
