Today a friend asked me, “Hey you know the artist JR, well-” I told her I was unaware of who JR was. I then received a look that said “Have you been living under a rock?” After looking at JR’s work I came to the conclusion, that yes I had been living under a rock. JR is the owner of one of the largest galleries in the whole world for the majority of his works are publicly displayed in the streets of various locations throughout the world. Hopefully you were not living under the same rock as I had!

One thing I paticular love about certain artists is their reasoning for producing the pieces, JR is indeed one of these artists. Not only does he create beautiful art and photography, his work helps underprivileged people and voices political objections. I hope you enjoy JR’s famous works, as much as I did today.
